Open September: Activities Overview
Hello CongAC-interestee! Are you doubting whether to join the best study association in Nijmegen? Let us help you decide! For the entirety of September, different kinds of activities are open to everyone, members AND non-members. This way, you can orientate whether you like what CognAC has to offer and decide that you want to join (because you will :D) at the end of the month!
We hope to see you make an appearance at the activities and wish you a great time getting to know CognAC!
[DAtA] Back2Skoelkast - Thursday 04/09
Come join us to enjoy free drinks for the first CognAC activity of the year! (Re-)connect with intro-participants, mentors, and other CognAC members. This is your chance to rewhile taking a break from the oh-so-long week you must have had with the beginning of the year. :)
So, don’t hesitate to stop by to have a beer, a chat, and play some flunkyball!

Tired from all those lectures on the first day of the week? Don’t worry, we’re here to help you rewind a bit with free lunch and fun chats during the break! We have various sandwich options for you to enjoy – and we promise, they’re worth stopping by for.
Even when you already have your own lunch, you’re still welcome to stop by to chat with fellow sjaars and CognAC members, so come say hi!

Join us for a free lunch! 🍴 Meet fellow (new) master's students, make friends, and grow your network. It’s a great way to connect, learn what CognAC offers, and kickstart the academic year. Don’t miss out - see you there!

[SC] How to Uni – Monday 15/09
Did you just start your AI bachelor's degree, and are you wondering how you can get the most out of your studies? Are you already low-key stressing about the upcoming exams or a variety of different things? Do you not really feel like you know your way around still? No worries! We've got your back <3
We will help you with some tips and tricks regarding tackling your degree the best way possible and hopefully obtaining your BSA this year. We will try to fill you in on (important) information that you might still be missing, and prepare you for basically the rest of the year. If you have any questions, we will try our best to answer those aswell!

[GameCo] Mario Kart Tournament – Thursday 18/09
3, 2, 1, start! Are you ready for the GameCo’s Mario Kart Tournament? We are the association for AI, so of course, gaming is a common subject. Come by to race against fellow AI students, and chill & chat while others take a turn.

[XC] How To Career - Tuesday 23/09
Did you just start your studies and are you interested in the career related activities you can do besides your courses? Or do you have no clue what career related activities are and why they can be so useful? Then this is the right activity for you!
During this presentation, we will give an overview of career related activities from CognAC and other organisations, useful websites and other general tips. Although the idea of graduating and getting a job might sound as something for in the far future for some of you, starting your orientation early can be very useful to find out where your intrestst lie and to get to know the workfield you might be working in later.
