Chair - Meike Ebbinkhuijsen

Hi there! 

My name is Meike, or Ebbi. I’m 21 years old and have been living in Nijmegen for the past 1.5 years. Since I joined CognAC after my own intro week, I’ve been active in the 1C and I later joined the AC. I’m happy to introduce myself as the official candidate chair for the XXXV CognAC board! Very hyped :D. When I’m not at uni, you can often find me swimming at the Erica Terpstra pool since I play water polo at the swimming association Hydrofiel. I also like to knit and bake, which fits my grandma reputation 👵🏻

Secretary - Mackenzie Kemperink

Hola! 
My name is Mackenzie, I will be XXXV's Secretary. 

I am originally from Twente, but luckily, I will mostly be speaking English as a board member, so nobody will be bothered by my accent :) I currently have a room in Galgenveld, where I very much enjoy cooking, reading, and spending time with friends. Next to seccie’ing and being part of the WkC, I’m very hyped about being in the Lustrum committee next year!

I can’t wait for the upcoming academic year to start, and am excited to share it with my fellow XXXV-members!

Treasurer - Olivier Zanders

Hello!

I’m Olivier Zanders, the kandi Treasurer of CognAC’s XXXV board! I am a third year AI and first year Philosophy student. 

I love being a part of CognAC, and the more I get involved, the more I want to do (it started with borrels, then committees, then board :) ). Aside from kandi I am also a proud member of the XC, SC and OrC! You can also always find me at DAtA borrels or CognAC lunches.

Chief of External Affairs - Florien Palm

Hi hi,

I’m Florien, 19, and future Chief of External Affairs. You might know me from the bataC, WkC, paparaC, or drinking some beers at some other activity. Otherwise, you can probably spot me on the hockey field on Sundays or hitting a few balls on the tennis court on Tuesdays. I love getting creative and messing around on the piano (still very much a work in progress though). I’m originally from Ouderkerk a/d Amstel, please ask me about it and I’ll happily tell you all about it. 

Then again, I can yap about pretty much anything, so come say hi!

Chief of Internal Affairs - Sabina Luca

Hiii! I'm Sabina, the future CIA of the XXXV board. A little about me: I’m 20 years old, born and raised in Bucharest, Romania. I’ve been living in Nijmegen for a year and a half already, and I can say I really love it here. I am an active member of CognAC and currently part of four committees—one of which I proudly chair. I’m super excited for next year and I am convinced I will have a great time together with the rest of the board. 

So if you ever feel like chatting, just come stay in the BK—I’ll basically be living there next year anyway.

Chief of Education - Jelmer van Bruggen

Hello there! 

My name is Jelmer and I am 21 years old. I am in my fourth year in AI and I am the candidate for the chief of education in the next board of CognAC. I like to swim and play baseball. I listen to all kinds of music and I pour the milk before the cereal. 

I have been in a couple of committees working with a lot of lovely people, which is where a lot of my love for CognAC comes from. I look forward to working with and for you guys and all in all have a great time together.
